Sunday 16th November 2025
Louella JC and Leo Palzer’s shared excitement for carefully crafted harmonies and each other’s songs got them started as a singer-songwriter duo accompanying themselves on guitar, banjo and ukelele in 2022. They combine their own repertoire of songs of love, anger, social injustice and women’s lives – spanning the navigation of contemporary motherhood to the joys and perils of a seriously drunken night out – with their own re workings of traditional folk songs, Americana and other selected interpretations .
Lou was a club guest artist for a half gig last year and she brought Leo onstage for a few numbers. Since then, Louella JC has issued an album and Lou & Leo sold out Aces and Eights. Now the duo are back for a full gig.
Artist’s website. You can watch them here.
Admission £10 (£8 concessions). We hope that everyone who can pays the standard price to support the musicians and the club. However, we want to be inclusive, so, if you can’t afford the standard price, do ask for a concession.
On the majority of club nights you will be able to pay on the door although we do put advance tickets on sale. On occasion demand will be very high and the evening may sell out in advance or there will be limited availability on the door. Please check the website regularly for the current position on specific evenings. We are primarily a seated venue, but on busy nights ticket holders may find they have to stand if they arrive late.
