9th March 2025
Narthen are Jo Freya, Fi Fraser Sarah Matthews and Doug Eunson. They present an orchestra of sound between them via whistles, saxes, fiddles, viola, hammer dulcimer, accordion and hurdy gurdy as well as four magnificent voices.
They sing and play the songs and tunes that reflect our individual personalities and tastes. From the tradition through to modern times, anything goes, and that material is expressed through vocal harmony and a large variety of instruments. There’s a huge amount of warmth and humour in every show from four musicians who together create a new sound.
Artist’s website and listen to them here.
Admission £10 (£8 concessions). We hope that everyone who can will pay the standard price to support the musicians and the club. However, we want to be inclusive, so, if you can’t afford the standard price, do ask for a concession.
On the majority of club nights you will be able to pay on the door although we do put advance tickets on sale. On occasion demand will be very high and the evening may sell out in advance or there will be limited availability on the door. Please check the website regularly for the current position on specific evenings. For online tickets for this evening go to https://wegottickets.com/event/637130.
