Sunday 7th September 2025
This will be Kevin’s first visit to the club – though he has played all over the UK, Europe, the US and Oz. He is a first class entertainer and sought after guitarist having accompanied many of the great names in folk music. Just sit back and enjoy a polished and accessible professional performance. Guitarists may take notes!
“Kevin Dempsey is a master of tricky rhythms and effortlessly complicated guitar parts and spreads a wonderfully dignified calm through the turbulent and muddied waters of my outpourings.” John Kirkpatrick
“A beautiful guitarist.” Martin Carthy
Artist’s website. You can listen to him here.
Admission £10 (£8 concessions). We hope that everyone who can pays the standard price to support the musicians and the club. However, we want to be inclusive, so, if you can’t afford the standard price, do ask for a concession.
On the majority of club nights you will be able to pay on the door although we do put advance tickets on sale. On occasion demand will be very high and the evening may sell out in advance or there will be limited availability on the door. Please check the website regularly for the current position on specific evenings. For online tickets for this evening go to https://wegottickets.com/event/662525.
