Sunday 6th December
Folk, blues and Americana singer-songwriter demonstrates nimble fingerpicking and striking lyrical originality. Named in ‘Best Gigs of 2023’ by Tradfolk, Amit’s raconteur spirit and superb musicianship has garnered a strong reputation on the live circuit, with over twenty years performing across the UK and Europe under his belt.
His musicianship, lyricism and fiercely defiant spirit come to the fore on his most recent release — Wrong Kind of One. Set against the backdrop of a debilitating health condition, this collection of songs captures resilience and hope in equal measure, earning plaudits and recognition for its honesty, warmth and craft.
Steph Saunders is a skilled and sensitive percussion accompanist who adds so much with so little.

Admission £12 (£10 concessions). We hope that everyone who can pays the standard price to support the musicians and the club. However, we want to be inclusive, so, if you can’t afford the standard price, do ask for a concession.
On the majority of club nights you will be able to pay on the door although we do put advance tickets on sale online. On occasion demand will be very high and the evening may sell out in advance or there will be limited availability on the door. Please check the website regularly for the current position on specific evenings. We are primarily a seated venue, but on busy nights ticket holders may find they have to stand if they arrive late.
